Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

When was the last time you had a sound, fitful sleep? The kind that leads you to wake up with a contented smile on your face? Probably not in a long while. Now when was the last time you complained you felt stressed? For most of us, that would be probably just hours ago. Every waking day of our lives we are constantly faced with potential stressors, from being nearly missed by a jeep from crossing a busy intersection, to running late for a meeting, to having to mediate between your two warring kids as to who gets to stay in the front of the car.

Things like these pile and can be tough on our emotional psyche so we need to find ways to counter it. Restorative Yoga proves to be a great channel to work out mental stress. (more…)

Non Surgical Techniques in Beauty Rejuvenation

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

No pain, no gain? That’s not necessarily true with these aesthetics medical breakthroughs. People have truly started to be more health conscious more than ever. But with their continued efforts to want to look good. Actually, as one would say, when you look good, you feel good. Though as they say, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, now, it’s literally on everyone’s minds. Before the turn of the century, people clamored and were enamored by the results achieved by silicone, which was used for breast implants and injections. The distressing issue, though, was its numerous ill effects that occurred many years after its introduction and instillation. This was followed by collagen of animal derivation, and though kinder in terms of complications, its many deleterious effects were also noted and thus, it fell out of grace. Body, Bikini and Brazilian Waxing

Thursday, June 12th, 2008

Loose tendrils, scruffy strands or even itchy stubbles — how much “carpet” could you really keep? The choice is yours on whether you want to stay bushwhacked or go bald.

Hollywood icons love this procedure. Kirstie Alley once said, “It feels like a baby’s butt, only all over.” Why, you ask, would you do this to yourself? To be honest, the pain isn’t at all a death sentence and the benefits are undeniable; you’ll have a smooth, bump-free bikini area that looks fabulous in a bathing or au naturel.

But what, you ask yourself again, is the big deal of having a Brazilian (all-off) wax anyway? Why not just keep the mop of hair on? For all you wax virgins: a Brazilian wax removes everything in your nether regions, front and back, leaving you completely smooth everywhere beneath your underwear — meaning, you’ll never have to worry about straying strands again.

Are you still prudish toward waxing? Waxing has become an important part of a woman’s beauty habit, and because Lay Bare uses the cold procedure, it is less traumatic — especially for first-timers.
