Beautify your bedroom

Okay, so you’re probably thinking, “hunger strike-just to raise enough funds for my major makeover.” Yes, that’s right. You’ll definitely need cash for this project but no; you don’t need to starve yourself. Armed with a few bucks (we totaled P5000 for this room), some simple color tricks, and boundless creativity, you can change the look of your living space in an instant.

THE MISSION: To turn this regular bedroom with neutral walls, a plain white comforter, and lots of wooden furniture, into a fun, playful, and cool space. But before spending your savings on new pieces scout around your house for things you can put in your room-experiment, go crazy, have fun! Make it your sanctuary, a place that both relaxes and stimulates, and, most importantly, one that reflects who you are.

WHAT WE DID

BEAUTIFY THE BED
We ditched the plain white comforter and replaced it with a funky one that has the colors pink, lavender, green, and brown. Then we also added pink and lavender pillows to prettify the bed. We used this combination as the color palette for the rest of the room.

FLAMBOYANT FLOOR
An easy way to add color is to throw in a rug and lots of pillows. These help make the room look more cozy and inviting. Now, there’s no need to worry about extra seating when you have friends over-they can sit comfortably on the floor!
